Phong Hoai Le
From my high school days, where I first delved into the world of Chemistry, earning the 2nd Prize in the Vietnam National Chemistry Olympiad, my academic path has been one of continual growth and discovery. At university, under the mentorship of distinguished professors, I deepened my knowledge and graduated with 'very good' honors, simultaneously embarking on research to uncover new drugs from natural products. This foundational work led me to Hiroshima University for my Master's, where I focused on developing nanomaterial catalysts to convert harmful exhaust gases into less detrimental forms. Advancing into my Ph.D., my research evolved towards creating innovative catalysts for CO2 conversion, aiming to close the carbon cycle and contribute to a carbon-neutral society. Each step of my education has been a building block towards my current research ambitions, combining a solid foundation in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Material Science with a profound commitment to environmental sustainability.
